LANCASTER LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE;
RELEASES 2015 SCHEDULE & RULEBOOK

With the 2015 racing season just months away the Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway unveiled the first phase of their new website (www.lancasternationalspeedway.com) on Friday.

The initial roll out contains some very important information, including the 2015 schedule for the stock car and drag racing programs as well as the rule books for the weekly divisions for both.

The weekly plan for the 2015 season at Lancaster has a familiar feel with Tuesday test & tune nights for the drag racers, the popular Wednesday Cruise Nights, weekly Friday night bracket drag racing and Saturday nights under the lights with the stock cars on the 1/2-mile oval.

The 2015 racing season begins the weekend of April 18-19 with a doubleheader weekend of drag and stock car racing. The drag racers kick off the year on Saturday, April 18 with a full day of side-by-side competition on the 1/8-mile dragstrip, including a Box/No Box Shootout. On Sunday, April 19 the oval track action gets going with the first of four visits in 2015 by the Race of Champions Modified Tour.

The traditional weekly schedule begins in early May with four nights of action at the historic Western New York racing facility per week. Racers planning on making Lancaster their home in 2015 can find rule books for both the drag racing and stock car programs on the new website. For Friday nights the weekly divisions will be Top, Mod, Bikes/Sleds and Street. The Quick 16 division will have six events in 2015. Stock cars will run weekly during the season with the 4-Cylinders, Street Stocks, "Open" TQ Midgets and Sportsman Modifieds competing on a regular basis. The Late Models will also make several appearances throughout the 2015 campaign.

Racers and fans are urged to stay tuned to the website in the coming weeks as more sections are launched. More information about Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway can be found on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lancasterspeedway) and on Twitter (@LancasterSpdwy).
