US OPEN FINALE POSTPONED
UNTIL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19

Short Track Management (STM) has postponed the conclusion of the 26th annual US Open at Lancaster Speedway until Sunday, October 19 due to the forecast of precipitation for the Buffalo-area on Friday evening into Saturday.

The event schedule for Sunday will be identical to the one originally planned for Saturday. Pit gates will open at 8 AM and grandstand gates will open at 9:30 AM. Practice for all divisions except the Modifieds will begin at 9:30 AM.The Race of Champions Modified Tour will have a 20-minute practice session beginning at 11:15 AM. Opening ceremonies will take place at 12 noon with heat races to begin immediately afterwards.
