LFR CHASSIS
TO PULL DOUBLE DUTY AT NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Todd Szegedy and Christian Eckes Will Both Pilot 15-40
Connection Cars For LFR Chassis |
LFR
Chassis will be pulling double duty this week at New
Hampshire Motor Speedway, as Todd Szegedy will be
back in action in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour
(NWMT) with Rob Fuller Motorsports, and Christian
Eckes will once again represent the LFR Driver
Development Group in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East
(NKNPSE). 15-40 Connection is on board with LFR
Chassis as the primary partner for both entries.
LFR Chassis President, Rob Fuller, is looking
forward to having two drivers competing in the
different series this weekend and is confident in
both drivers’ experience.
“This weekend is by far my favorite weekend of the
season,” said Fuller. “To have Christian Eckes
making his debut at Loudon in our K&N car is a huge
testament to how far this company has come and how
far Christian has developed as a driver. With a
veteran like Todd (Szegedy) helping Christian learn
the ropes of this tricky racetrack I think that'll
be a huge benefit for Christian and our entire LFR
group.”
“We will use the All-Star race on Friday in the
modified to test for the big race on Saturday and I
really believe with a driver like Todd that we have
as good of a chance as anyone there to get wins in
both races,” continued Fuller. “Christian will be
making his first laps at Loudon but the way his
season has been going I wouldn't be surprised if
he's there battling for a win at the end of the
race.
“We have a lot of great things going on here at LFR
lately and we're looking forward to making them
public. Having a great weekend here would just be
the icing on the cake and with the drivers that we
have in our stable I am more than confident that
this will be the case.”
LFR Chassis is excited to have the NWMT veteran
driver and former series champion Todd Szegedy back
in the driver’s seat this weekend. Szegedy won the
NWMT Championship in 2003, and is looking forward to
adding another solid finish to his resume at New
Hampshire Motor Speedway where he recorded wins in
2007, 2011, 2013, and 2015.
“I’ve always enjoyed running at New Hampshire,” said
Szegedy. “You have higher speeds and drafting there,
and that’s something I’ve been able to excel at. I’m
at 19 wins right now, and I would love to get
another victory before the season is up and have 20
wins under my belt. I can’t ask for anything more
with the car and equipment Rob has given me, and I
think we could be a contender to win with the right
set-up and making the right decisions on the track.”
Christian Eckes, will make his third NASCAR K&N Pro
Series East start this week in the No. 15 15-40
Connection Ford Fusion. Eckes has placed in the
Top-10 in both NKNPSE starts with LFR Driver
Development Group this season, and hopes to continue
the streak of solid finishes in New Hampshire.
“This will be my first time at New Hampshire and I
am really looking forward to the competition at this
track,” said the Greenville, NY native. “My first
two K&N starts have gone well, but they both had
some issues on my part. I believe that going into
New Hampshire we will be able to work on those
issues, and a Top-3 or Top-5 is surely not out of
reach.”
15-40 Connection has partnered with Rob Fuller for
the past three years, and will be featured on both
cars this week. 15-40 Connection focuses on early
cancer detection and teaching people how to become
active in their own health care by recognizing early
signs and warnings as well as when they should seek
help from a medical professional.
“We attended the 15-40 Connection Gala on Sunday and
it was another great event held by Mr. Coghlin,
Trica Laursen and their entire group,” said Fuller.
“We are hoping to get 15-40 Connection in Victory
Lane at Loudon!”
